The Block Workout Story

2010

Block Workout born

Terroll Lewis developed a street exercise movement that sought to cultivate a healthy lifestyle by making the use of everyday items and surroundings.

The same year, Terroll delivered his first community sessions in Kennington Park.

The sessions became extremely popular with young people from the area. Terroll also offered support in education, training and employment as well as providing informal mentoring. The young people told him they had nowhere else to go, no one else who would listen, understand and not judge

2014
